Avalon Web Site Design will be closed from July 18th - July 25th 2004. Email
will be checked during that time but, most likely, no updates will be made
to site. If you have critical updates that need to be done, please
get them to Avalon by July 13th.

Just a quick heads up: The Avalon office will be closed the
Week of February 27- March 4.
Welcome
to the NEW Avalon Web Site Design web site! Have a look
around and let me know what you think! If there's a feature
you'd like to see, drop Avalon a line! This version allows
for easier viewing fo the Portfolio section and it will
also be easier for you to pay online as that section is much
more clear.
As much as I loved the old
design, I felt it was time for a bit of a change to get away
from some of the limitations of the last version. With the
new version of the site, tons of stuff can be added within
the existing framework. You never know, a revamped version
of that site may appear next year because it was such a cool
design. I will miss that site.
Some things to tell you about. Lots of new
sites have come on board for hosting and redesigns. Contact
Radio will soon be redesigned as will another site that I've
worked with for the past year, but that I didn't design from
the ground up, crustbusting.com.
Avalon has launched several new sites in the past
few months:
- MaxAxle.net Max Axle's
a Seattle band of a great bunch of guys. Check out their site
and go see them!
- Visionbydesign.net This
is a site tailored to corporations. Some very interesting
philosophies regarding business. Check it out!

6/03 Hello! Long time no write!
Ok, several things to tell you about
here...
Firstly, this is going to sound like a commercial,
but I have found this GREAT spam elimination program called
MAILWASHER PRO . In the past few months, my emailbox has exploded
with junk mail. Just absolute GARBAGE. I have NO idea how I
got on some spam email list as I'm very careful about that.
MAILWASHER PRO has really taken care of this problem.

Basically, you install the program and it watches
your mail server. Once you get email, you go through and tell
it what is spam and what you want to get. Then, it keeps track
of this and when it checks your email again, it flags the message
as garbage and when it downloads your mail, it ONLY downloads
the ones you want. You can View all e-mail before you download
it, then delete or bounce the e-mail back to the sender so
your address appears to be invalid. Great for getting off e-mail
lists. It's also great to filter viruses.
My web design clients KNOW that I am really anti-advertisement
on my web site, but I thought you should look into this great
and inexpensive program. It's really done a job of cleaning
up my email box. Try it for 30 days for FREE and you'll be
hooked. I definitely was!
If you're using web based email on our hosting
servers, this program won't be of use to you. But if you're
using an email program, it's a great addition!
OK-
As far as site work goes, I've been keeping VERY
busy with the Contact
Talk Radio site. Lots of info there and I encourage you
all to tune into the show and have a listen. There's some definite
'eye opening' stuff there.
I've been working with a few new clients that
will soon have sites up. They are Kirkland Holistic Center
, Crustbusting.com, and Dalla Vite Wine Importers. Also, Calavera
Art Studio (GREAT WORK- check it out!) Welcome to Avalon

Very busy few months! New sites have been launched:
EldWeddings.net has
also had a redesign. I encourage you to have a look, it looks
really great. You can also check the portfolio page where the
before and after shots are!
A new site will be joining the portfolio soon. That site is

11/18/02 New Site:
Avalon Web Site Design is proud to announce a new client, Contact
Talk Radio . Their web site, ContactRadio.info was
just redesigned by Avalon WSD and it's a really slick site.
The site surrounds a radio program dealing with mysteries
of the planet and metaphysical topics. Very interesting.
On the site, you can find archives of the show allowing you
to listen to past shows. Check it out!
10/1/02 Avalon Web Site Design Now Offers Web Hosting:

10/02 New Sites:
Avalon Web Site Design has been SO busy these past few
weeks! 5 new sites (since September) either went up or are going up soon:
Each of these sites had their own various hurdles to get over,
but it's great to be so busy! As soon as possible, they will
